The California Workforce Investment Board is committed to ensuring support and assistance to small businesses in California. If you are a small business owner and need assistance with hiring employees, job training, or other matters, please contact our Small Business Liaison.
The liaison will:
- Respond to complaints from small business
- Provide technical advice and assistance to small businesses regarding compliance with the Agency’s regulation
- Report small business concerns to the Secretary of the Labor and Workforce Development Agency
- Assist the Secretary to ensure the Agency’s procurement and contracting process is sufficient to meet the existing 25 percent small business participation goal, and
- Provide additional assistance and referral as deemed necessary
